Appointment of Game Officers and other staff. —

1. (1) The State Government may, for the purposes of this Act, appoint—
   • (a) A Chief Game Warden,
   • (b) Game Wardens,
   • (c) Assistant Game Wardens, and
   • (d) Such other officers and servants as may be necessary.
2. (2) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, delegate all or any of the powers exercisable by it under this Act, except the power to make rules under section 43, to the Chief Game Warden or such other officer as may be specified in the notification.
