Possession of wild animal etc. to be reported to Game Officer

1. (1) Any person who has in his control, custody or possession any wild animal, or any animal specified in Schedule I, or any meat, trophy, uncut trophy, or uncured trophy, shall within thirty days from the commencement of this Act, submit to the Game Officer a declaration in the prescribed form giving the description of the animal, meat, trophy, uncut trophy, or uncured trophy and the place of storage.
2. (2) No person shall, after the commencement of this Act, acquire, receive, keep in his control, custody or possession, sell, offer for sale or otherwise transfer or transport any wild animal, or any animal specified in Schedule I, or any meat, trophy, uncut trophy or uncured trophy, except with the previous permission in writing of the Game Officer.
