Interpretation

For the purposes of this Chapter- (i) the definition of canal in section 3 shall be construed as if for the words "by the State Government" occurring in clause (a) of that section, the words "whether by the State Government or any other person" had been substituted therein; (ii) the expression "requisitioned property" means "property requisitioned under sub-section (1) of section 91-B".
