Statutory text
Land is said to be irrigable when— (a) it is commanded by a canal; (b) it is under cultivation; and (c) it is not wet. Explanation.—Land which has been cultivated with any crop at any time during two years preceding the time from which an irrigation agreement has effect shall be deemed to be under cultivation.
