Subordination of canal officers

Statutory text
The Chief Engineer shall be subordinate to the State Government; all other canal officers shall be subordinate to the Chief Engineer; all canal officers in a circle shall be subordinate to the Superintending Engineer; and all canal officers in a division shall be subordinate to the Executive Engineer.
