Academic Council

(1) The Academic Council shall be responsible for the maintenance of standards of instruction, education, and examination. (2) The Academic Council shall consist of such members as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (3) The Council shall have the power to frame regulations. (4) The Academic Council shall supervise the academic affairs. (5) The council shall meet periodically. (6) Members hold office as per statutes. (7) Quorum is required for meetings. (8) Decisions are binding. (9) All academic matters are decided by the council. (1) All recognized teaching in connection with the degree, diploma and certificate and any other academic distinction of the University shall be conducted, under the administrative control of the Executive Council, by the teachers of the University, in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by Regulations. (2) The courses and curriculum and the authorities responsible for organising such teaching shall be such as may be prescribed by the Regulations. (1) All recognized teaching in connection with the degree, diploma and certificate and any other academic distinction of the University shall be conducted, under the administrative control of the Executive Council, by the teachers of the University, in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by Regulations. (2) The courses and curriculum and the authorities responsible for organizing such teaching shall be such as may be prescribed by the Regulations.
