Constitution of Standing Committee and appointment of Ad hoc committees

Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Regulations made in this behalf the Executive Council may by resolution constitute such standing committees or ad hoc committees for such purposes and with such powers as the Executive Council may think fit for exercising any power or discharging any function of the University. The Executive Council may co-opt such other persons as members of any committee as it may consider necessary and may permit them to attend the meetings of the Executive Council. The Executive Council may appoint such committees as it may think fit for exercising any power or discharging any function of the University.
