Closing down of colleges

(1) No non-government college or institution shall be closed down without prior approval of the State Government. (2) In case of closure, the management must ensure that the interest of the students is protected by making arrangements for their transfer to other recognized institutions. The Competent Authority may, for the purpose of this Chapter by order: (a) power by any authority to enter and it may be prescribed in the order, in relation to the property of the institution; (b) require any person to furnish to such authority such information relating to the property as may be specified in the order.
