Power to remove difficulties
The Chhattisgarh Non-Government Colleges and Institutions in Higher Education (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2006Any person or educational agency running a non-government college or institution without obtaining the requisite permission under this Act shall be prohibited from running such institution and the State Government shall have the power to take such actions as it deems necessary to stop its operations including sealing of the premises and initiation of legal proceedings. All such teachers and other employees of the institution, who are on approved roll of the Government and the University Grants Commission for grant-in-aid as salary, shall open two accounts each in any nationalized Bank or post office convenient to them and specified by the Government for payment of salary. Out of these, the amounts of their salary shall be deposited in one account and the amount of their provident fund shall be deposited in the other account. However, it shall be the responsibility of the management to disburse the salaries to all the categories of employees latest by last day of every month and shall not be later than 5th of the ensuing month under any circumstances. A communication having complied with the above provision shall invariably be sent to the Commissioner of Higher Education by 10th of every month failing which it shall call for stringent action against the management as per prescribed rules.
