FIR against Dissolution of Marriage via Customary Manner [Under Rules 7(2) (d)(iii) of The Uniform Civil Code Rules, Uttarakhand, 2025]

It has come to our notice that the marriage between Ms. (Name of Wife) D/o Mr. R/o , and Mr. (Name of Husband) S/o Mr. R/o has been dissolved without following the provisions contained in The Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand, 2024 and The Uniform Civil Code Rules, Uttarakhand, 2025.

Subsequently a summary inquiry, conducted into this matter, revealed that the marriage was dissolved in the following manner -

This act is in contravention of Section 29 of The Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand, 2024 and punishable under clause (ii) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 32 of the Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand, 2024.

In this regard, you are requested to take appropriate legal action.
