Offences under the Act to be cognizable

Statutory text
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) any offence in respect of any scheduled timber shall be deemed to be a cognizable offence within the meaning of that Code.
