Persons employed to carry out the Act to be deemed Forest Officer

All persons employed under sections 30, 32 and 33 to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be deemed to be Forest Officers within the meaning of this Act. The Government shall also have power to appoint any person to discharge any function of a Forest Officer under any of the provisions of this Act which have been extended to any land or to any forest or waste land or produce thereof by a notification under section 32 or section 33 or under any rule made in pursuance of any provision so extended.
