Duties of competent authorities

(1) Every competent authority shall take steps to eliminate places where the insects are breeding or likely to breed and to control or destroy the insects. (2) The Government or the local authority shall maintain special staff and equipment for the purpose and such staff may have the right to enter upon any land or any premises, house or room, after giving sufficient notice to the residents who shall give all facilities to such men and inspecting officers.
