Declaration of closed area.--

1. (1) The Government may, by notification, declare any area closed to hunting for such period as may be specified in the notification.
2. (2) No hunting of any wild animal shall be permitted in a closed area during the period specified in the notification, except under and in accordance with a permit granted by the Chief Wild Life Warden or the authorised officer.
