Statutory text

(1) Every specified plant or part or derivative thereof, in respect of which any offence under this Act or any rule or order made thereunder has been committed, shall be the property of the Government.
(2) The provisions of sub-sections
(2) and
(3) of section 38 shall, as far as may be, apply in relation to the specified plant or part or derivative thereof as they apply in relation to wild animals and articles referred to in sub-section
(1) of that section. 15. Amendment of the heading of Chapter IV, Act VIII of 1978 Amendment of the heading of Chapter IV, Act VIII of 1978.-In the heading of Chapter IV, for the words "GAME RESERVES AND CLOSED AREAS" the words "AND CONSERVATION RESERVES" shall be substituted.
