60. Disputes as to constitution of University authority or body 60. Where any question arises as to. (I} 1hc interpretation oi any prov1s1on of this Act or oi any Statute or Rq;ulaaon. or (2) whether a person has been duly appointed as, 01 ss cnlitkd lo be or ceas.::s to he entitled to be a member of any authority or other body of the Univcr~i t y or whether a body or authority of the University is duly con~titutcd, or (3) whether any dce1sion of the Uruversity 1s in accordance wslh prov1s1on~ of this Act. Statutes or Regulations. (a) it may be referred 10 the Staie Govcmm~'!lt if 11 rclat~-s to a maner specified in clauses (I) and (3). and (b) it shall be referred to the State Government (i) 1f 1t relates to a matter specified in clause (2), or (ii) if not less than fi ve member~ of the Roard so required, and the State Government shail after making such inquiry. as it dc..:ms fit and after giving an opportunity of being heard. decide the qu.:srion and its decision shall be final.
