Recognition of institution
The Kamdhenu University Act, 200948. Recognition of institution 48. (I) The Board shall have power, aflcr consuhation with the Academic Council, to recognise an institution of Research or Extension Education as a recognised mstirutc, other than a college 10 Vetennary and allied sciences. (2) An insmuhon. which desires to have such rccogniuon, shall make an application to the Registrar and shall give full information in the application in respect of the following matters. namelyc- (a) constitution and personnel of the managing body; (b) Subjects and courses in regard to which reco:;1it1on is sought; (c) accommodation, equipments. libr.uy facilitie:; and the number of students for whom provision has been or is proposed to be ma<le; {d) the strength of the Ma ff. their qualifications and sa:anes and the resca1ch work dune by them; 1t:) fees levied or proposed to be lc'"ied an<l tltc tinanc1al provision made for cap1tai expenditure on buildings an<l equipments aad for the continued maintenance and ~fficient working of the mslltullon. (3) Bciore laking the application into cons1der:uion. the Board mav call for any further iniimnaiioa which 1t may deem necessary. (4) The Board may direct a local inquiry to be made by a con~petent person or p=ns authorised by it in this behalf. After considering the report made as a result of such local Inquiry and making such further inquiry as may appear to It to be necessary. the Board shall, aner obtaining the opinion of the Academic Council, grant or refuse the apphcation or any part thereof.
