51. Withdrawal of affiliation 51. ( 1) The rights conferred on a college by affiliation may be withdrawn i ~ whole or in part or modified if the college has failed to observe any of the conditions of its affiliation or the college is conducted in a manner which is prejudicial to the interests of education. (2) A motion for the withdrawal or the modification of such nghts shall be initiated only in the Board. The member of the Board. who intends 10 move such a motion. $hall gl\e notice of it a.'ld shall state m writing the grounds on which it is made. (3) Before taking the said motion ir.to consideration. the Board shall send a copy of the noucc of the motion and statement of grounds on which it is made to the Dean of the college concerned together with an intimation that any representation in writing submitted withm a pcnod speci !led in such intima1 ion on behalf of the college will be considered by the Board.
