Power of Council to call for information from medical institution

The Council shall have power to call upon the governing body or authorities of a medical institution, examining body or other institution recognized or desirous of being recognized by the Government,— (a) to furnish such reports, returns or other information as the Council may require, to enable it to judge the efficiency of the instructions given therein in Ayurvedic or other allied Indian Systems of Medicine; (b) to provide facilities to enable a member of the Council deputed by the Council in this behalf to be present at the examination held by such medical institution, examining body or other institution.
