Duties of President

Unless provided otherwise by the Act or prevented by reasonable cause, it shall be the duty of the President,— (a) to convene and preside over all meetings of the Council; (b) otherwise to control in accordance with any regulations to be made in this behalf, the transaction of business, at all meetings of the Council; (c) to perform such other duties as are required or imposed on him by or under this Act or rules framed thereunder.
