The Government may. by order, remove Power to remove

from office of the Chairperson or any other member Chairperson of Gram Panchayat or an [***], after giving or member of him an opportunity of making a representation, if he- Gram Panchayat [* a]

1. (a) incurs any of the disqualifications specified in- section 57 $07 (b): refuses to act or becomes incapable of acting; or (¢) is, in the opinion of the Government guilty of misconduct in the discharge of his duties sor
2. (d) is, in the opinion of the Government undesirable in the public interest to be continued in office; or
3. (e) has caused financial ioss, waste or misappropriation of any money, or property belonging to the Gram Panchayat or the [***] by neglect or misconduct in the performance of his duties; or
4. (f) conceals any of the points of disqualification specified in section 57 while presenting nomination papers for election of Gram Panchayat member or [***] member and later detected ; and the Chairperson or member so removed shall not be eligible for re-election to the vacancy so created.
