Power to make Rules and Regulations

(1) The State Government may make Rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) All rules, made under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be, before the House of the state Legislature. (3) The Director General of Police may frame Regulations, with the approval of the State Government, in respect of matters, specified in this Act. (4) State Government may direct the Director General of Police to amend any Regulation made by him in such manner, as it may direct and thereupon, the Director General of Police shall amend the Regulation in the manner as directed. (5) Every Rule and Regulation made this Act shall be notified by the State Government in the Official Gazette.
