Staff of the State and District Police Complaints Authority

(1) The State Government shall provide staff to the members of the Authority. (2) The number of staff shall be prescribed by the State Government. (3) The selection of staff by the Authority shall be done according to such procedure as is prescribed by the Government. (4) The remuneration and other terms and conditions of service of the staff shall be notified by the State Government from time to time. (5) Retired officers from CID/Intelligence/Vigilance and other investigating agencies may be associated with the State/District Police Complaints Authority for Field Inquiries as per requirement.
