Maximum limit of transfer

The maximum limit of mandatory transfer from Difficult area to Easy area shall be as follows, namely: (a) Mandatory transfer from Difficult area to Easy area shall be done only up to the limit of the total number of vacancies available in the Easy area in the concerned cadre and probable vacancies under section 7. Calculation of personnel eligible for transfer will be done in the order of total service period spent in the Difficult area in the entire service duration; (b) Such personnel who are working in the Difficult area for a period of more than 03 years at the current place of posting or their posting in the Difficult area in the entire service duration is more than 10 years, shall be mandatorily transferred only up to the limit of availability of vacancies in the Easy area in the cadre as per the above, while keeping them in descending order according to the total duration of posting in the Difficult area in their entire service duration.
