Fares payable by passenger.

(1) A passenger who has attained the age of twelve years shall pay the full fare as may be determined by the Government from time to time. (2) No fare shall be charged from a passenger who is a child below the age of five years and is carried in the lap of the parent or other passenger. (3) Fare at the rate of half of the fare determined under sub-section (1) may be charged in respect of children above the age of five but below the age of twelve years.
