Rajasthan Ground Water Service Rules, 1969A candidate for appointment to the Service must be:- (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) “Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia” with the intention of permanently setting in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the “Government in the department of home affairs and Justice after proper verification.” S. No. 8. Post: Senior Geophysicist. Method of recruitment: 100% by promotion. Minimum qualification & experience for direct recruitment: M.Sc. in Geophysics or M.Tech. (Electronics) from a University or Institution established by law in India. 5 years' experience in Geophysical work. Post from which promotion is to be made: Junior Geophysicist. Minimum qualification and experience for promotion: 5 years' experience on the post mentioned in Column No. 5. Remarks: Upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 40 years, if the post is filled by direct recruitment.
