Nomination of members in certain cases.

In the event of the requisite number of members not being elected under clauses (c) and (d) of sub-section (1) of section 4 within the prescribed period, the State Government may fill up the vacancy or vacancies by nominating the requisite number of registered veterinary practitioners residing in the State of Punjab, and a person so nominated shall be deemed to have been duly elected under clause (c) or clause (d), as the case may be.
