Rules and regulations.
The Punjab Veterinary Council Act, 1981(1) The State Government may, after previous publication, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act, from time to time, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) the time at which and the place and manner in which election shall be held under section 4 ; (b) the form of the register of veterinary practitioners to be prepared and maintained under this Act ; (c) the conditions of service of persons appointed under section 16 ; (d) utilization of fees realised under this Act; (e) the procedure to be followed by the Council for— (i) conducting any inquiry under section 26, and (ii) disposal of appeal from the decision of the Registrar preferred under section 24. (3) The Council may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, make regulations for— (a) the allowances payable to the members of the Council ; (b) the keeping of accounts.
