Disqualifications of members

A person shall not be eligible to be elected or nominated as a member of the Board or of any Committee, if he—

1. (a) does not profess the Hindu religion;
2. (b) is less than twenty-five years of age;
3. (c) is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court;
4. (d) has applied for being adjudged an insolvent or is an undischarged insolvent; or
5. (e) has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude which, in the opinion of the State Government renders him unfit to be a member.
