Short title, extent and commencement
- (1) This Act may be called The Mizoram (Village Councils) Act, 2025.
- (2) It shall extend to the whole of Mizoram except the areas under the jurisdiction of the Municipal, Lai, Mara and Chakma autonomous District Councils.
- (3) It shall come into force from the date of publication in the official Gazette.
