Legal Entity of the University

Legal Entity of the University.-

1. (1) Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice Chancellor and the members of the Court, the University Council, the Academic Council and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, shall constitute a body corporate by the name of “Mizoram State University”.
2. (2) The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
