Annual Accounts

Annual Accounts.-

1. (1) The annual accounts and balance-sheet of the University shall be prepared under the directions of the University Council and shall, once at least every year and at intervals of not more than fifteen months, be audited by Accountant General of Mizoram or by such persons as he may authorise in this behalf.
2. (2) A copy of the annual accounts together with the audit report thereon shall be submitted to the Court and the Chancellor along with the observations of the University Council.
3. (3) Any observations made by the Chancellor on the annual accounts shall be brought to the notice of the Court and the observations of the Court, if any, shall, after being considered by the University Council, be submitted to the Chancellor.
4. (4) A copy of the annual accounts together with the audit report as submitted to the Chancellor, shall also be submitted to the Government, which shall, as soon as may be, cause the same to be laid before State Legislative Assembly.
5. (5) The audited annual accounts shall be laid before State Legislative Assembly.
