Reports of Probation Officer and other reports to be treated confidential

The report of Probation Officers or any other reports considered by the court under section 63 shall be treated as confidential: Provided that the competent authority may, if it so thinks fit, communicate the substance thereof to the child or parent or guardian and an opportunity of producing such evidence as may be relevant to the matter stated in the report shall be given.
