Powers and duties of Chief inspectors and inspectors

(1) Powers and duties of the Chief-Inspectors, Inspectors and Assistant Inspectors of institutions shall be as those provided under the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder and in accordance with general or special order which the state government or any officer authorised in this behalf may make for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act. (2) Every institution under the Act shall be liable to inspection at all times and in all its departments by the Chief Inspector, Inspector or Assistant Inspector and shall be so inspected at least once in every year. (3) The Chief-Inspector, inspector or Assistant Inspector shall also have a right to visit any institution at any time.
