Penalty abetting escape of child or delinquent child
The Manipur Children Act, 1978(a) Whoever knowingly assist or induces, directly or indirectly a child or delinquent child detained in or placed out on licence from a special school to escape from the school or of any person With whom he is placed out on licence, or any child or delinquent child to a special escape from the care of the person to whose care he is committed under the provisions of this Act, or (b) Knowingly harbours, conceal, connives at or prevents from returning to the special school or to any person With whom he is placed out on licence or to whose care he is committed under this Act, a child or delinquent child, who has so escaped or knowingly assists in or connives at so doing, shall be punishable with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months or to a fine not exceeding two hundred rupees, or with both.
