Dangerous quarrying, bore wells, open wells and ponds. – It shall be the duty of every Gram Panchayat to report acts of quarrying, drilling bore wel ls, excavating open wells or ponds as to prevent nuisance or danger to the inhabitants and to take steps together with the appropriate Government departments ]1 1.
