2[296E. Resignation and removal, – (1) The Grievance Redressal Authority may by notice in writing under his hand addressed to the State Government resign his office. (2) notwithstanding anything contained in sub -section (1), the government may, by order, remove Grievance Redressal Authority from the office of the Grievance Redressal Authority , if he, - (a) is adjudged as an insolvent; or (b) has been convicted of an offence which, in the opinion of the Government, involves moral turpitude; or (c) engages during his term of office in any paid employment outside the duties of his office; or (d) is, in the o pinion of the government, unfit to continue in office by reason of infirmity of mind or body; or (e) has acquired such financial or other interest as is likely to affect prejudicially his functions as the Grievance Redressal Authority ]2 2.
