15. Arrangement of work during temporary absence of the Vice-Chancellor: During the temporary absence of the Vice-Chancellor by reason of leave, illness or any other cause, it shall be lawful for the Pro-Vice Chancellor to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Vice-Chancellor, and the matter shall be immediately reported to the Chancellor by the Registrar and if, in the opinion of the Chancellor, the temporary absence of the Vice-Chancellor is for a long period, the Chancellor may make necessary arrangement as per the recommendation of the State Government.
