Powers and duties of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor.--(1) Subject to the control of the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor.

  1. (2) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor of a University shall also exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes or the Regulations.
