Transitional provisions

Transitional provisions.—(1) Any act done or proceeding taken under this Act by any authority or body of the University shall not be invalid on the ground of—

1. (a) any vacancy or defect in the constitution of the authority, or body; or
2. (b) any defect or irregularity in election, nomination or appointment of a person acting as a member thereof; or
3. (c) any defect or irregularity in such act or proceeding, not affecting the merits of the case.

1. (2) The Teacher, Student or any other member of the University shall be governed by the ordinances and regulations as specified in this Act, until the new statutes are made.
