Vacating of office

1. (1) Any member of any authority or body of the University may vacate his office by resignation in writing addressed to the Vice-Chancellor and the resignation shall take effect from the date on which it is accepted by the Vice-Chancellor.
2. (2) Any member of any authority or body of the University shall cease to be a member on his being convicted by a court of law of any offence which involves moral turpitude.
