Creation or alteration of the limits of Tehsil and Sub-Division

The Chief Commissioner may create a new tehsil or alter the limits of an existing tehsil: Provided that if more Tehsils than one are created, each tehsil shall form into a sub-division and may, if necessary, be placed under a separate Revenue Assistant.
