Conditions of Service

(1) The emoluments and terms and conditions of service of all the employees of the Board shall be as may be prescribed.

(2) All salaried officers and employees of the Board including those appointed by the Board for specified periods or for specified work or who receive remuneration such as allowances, fees or other payments from the Board’s Fund shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act 45 of 1860). A copy of the Secondary School Certificate already granted, shall be issued by the secretary on receipt of an application through the head of the Secondary School which has presented the candidate for Examination, accompanied by a fee of Rs. 10/- for each such copy of the Certificate. The copy of the Certificate will be supplied only through the head of the Secondary School concerned; provided that copies of the Secondary School Certificate of the Candidates presented for the examination by Secondary School which have ceased to exist or to be recognized after presenting candidates for the examination shall be issued to the candidates concerned direct on payment of the prescribed fees.
