The Government may, after inquiry as deemed necessary by a retired judge of the High Court, remove from office the Chairman of the Board, if he/she, a. has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude; or b. has been found guilty of any lapse, misconduct, misbehaviour or disgraceful conduct which in the opinion of the Government renders him unfit to be continued as Chairman; or c. has been adjudged as undischarged insolvent; or d. has been declared physically disabled by any medical authority as the Government may specify in this behalf; or e. has been adjudged to be of unsound mind by a competent authority; or
