Statutory text

(1) The Vishwavidyalaya shall have one or more faculties as may be prescribed by the Statute.
(2) Each faculty shall consist of Dean and such other members and shall have such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the statute.
(3) Each faculty shall have such departments as may be assigned to it by the Adhiniyam.
(4) Dean of Faculty shall be appointed as per provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 17.
(5) Dean of Faculty shall be the Chairman of the faculty and shall be responsible for the implementation of the Statute, the Ordinance and the Regulation relating to the faculty and for the conduct and maintenance of standards of teaching, research and extension.
(6) In addition to the faculties the Vishwavidyalaya shall have one "centre for Kamdhenu and Panchgavya Research and Extension" for conducting research, developing technologies and providing training exclusively in the field of Kamdhenu and Panchgavya sciences and technology, the constitution, functions and activities of which shall be prescribed by the statutes, ordinances and regulations that may be made in this behalf.
