- (1) There shall be constituted a fund to be known as the "Fire Prevention and Life Safety Fund". (2) The proceeds of fire fees, charges and penalties, other than fines, recovered under this Act, shall be credited to this fund. (3) The Government will formulate rules for the operation of this Fund. (4) Fees for services render by the Fire and Emergency Service for issuing a no objection certificate, conducting a fire audit and any other fire service shall be charged as a fee in the manner as may be prescribed by Government and credited to this fund.
