Appointment of election authority

Appointment of election authority.

1. (1) The conduct of elections to the offices of corporators shall be vested in such election authority as may be prescribed.
2. (2) The election authority shall, in consultation with the Government, appoint a returning officer who shall be an officer of the Government or of the Corporation, for the purpose of such elections.
