Establishment of University

Statutory text
- (1) With effect from such date as the State Government may by notification appoint, there shall be established at Amaravati in the State of Andhra Pradesh a University by name “the India International University of Legal Education and Research of the Bar Council of India Trust at Andhra Pradesh”, which shall consist of the General Council, the Executive Council, the Academic Council, and other Committees and bodies to be constituted by the Board of Trustees/Managing Trustees in consultation with the Chairman.
- (2) The University shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued in its corporate name.
- (3) The headquarters of the University shall be at Amaravati in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
