The procedure and functions of the Ombudsman shall be as prescribed by the UGC from to time to time and these shall be set down in an Ordinance.

Grievance Redressal Committee for Students

1. (1) The Executive Council shall constitute a Grievance Redressal Committee for the University Colleges to resolve the grievances of the students. The constitution, term, functions, meaning and procedure for redressal of grievances shall be as provided and detailed in the UGC Regulations on this subject and in accordance with the Ordinance made for the purpose.
2. (2) The University shall have a 'Student Grievance Redressal Portal" to facilitate the students / complainants to lodge their grievance, send reminders, and view the status of action taken on their grievances.
3. (3) Any person / College aggrieved by the decision of the Grievance Redressal Committee may prefer to appeal to the Executive Council within one month from the date of communication of its decision.
