Such appeal shall be filed within thirty days from the day on which such person has notice of the action taken.

The Registrar

1. (1) The Registrar shall be a whole-time paid officer of the University appointed by the Executive Council for a term not exceeding three
2. (3) years on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
3. (2) He/she shall be from among the senior teachers and be on the rank of Professor. If a professor is not immediately available , an Associate Professor shall be appointed as full additional charge, until permanent is made.
4. (3) Subject to the general direction and control of the Vice- Chancellor, the Registrar shall be the Administrative Officer of the University. He shall entrust such duties and functions as are not covered by the Statutes to the employees of the University with the consent of the Vice-Chancellor.
5. (4) The Registrar shall act as the Member-Secretary of the Executive Council, the Academic Senate, and the Standing Committee of the Academic Senate.
6. (5) The Registrar shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
